V’s Birthday

February 22 (San Diego & Los Angeles) —

We moved our furniture to Mark’s yesterday and I stayed overnight to work on Tigger.   Mark and Julie took me out for my birthday and we had a few too many of these:

Mark then surprised me the next morning with this birthday breakfast cake, which instantly cured my hangover:

Not a bad beginning at all for my 38th birthday!

After I got back to LA in the afternoon, we went to Via Veneto for dinner in the upstairs wine room hosted by Neal and Nancy.  What an amazing night with amazing friends.  Thank you Mike, Alison, Kathy, Eric, Kalpana, Rory, Tyler and Dani for celebrating with us.  I will miss each of you.
