Training for New Zealand

March 20 (Bozeman, MT) —

After skiing Bridger Bowl, we had dinner with Big Dan, Gretchen and their kids and Gretchen mentioned that — in addition to 3.5 dogs (at time of this writing they may or may not be adopting a German shorthair pointer), 6 horses, 13 chickens, and 3 cats —  they had two 4 day old lambs at their ranch that had been rejected by their mothers and needed to be fed.

V was super excited so we drove out there after dinner.    David was a natural:
