You know you’re in Texas when . . .

 

. . . the veggie plate is just sides.

We’ve been in Austin for the last few days to drop off Pancha and Tigger with my mom and stepdad (and to eat BBQ at Salt Lick) because we are leaving for a two month trip to Africa today.   We’re heading to Uganda and Rwanda to see the mountain gorillas and then on to Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and South Africa.  Back in late November.  We don’t know how frequently we’ll have internet, but we hope to post updates along the way!
